Other Facilities & Services
Embark from our private dock in a custom-made Riverboat on a Mekong River journey for one or two hours in the morning or late afternoon. During the High Season, when the Mekong is not in flood, enjoy a private sunset cocktail party on the sandy beach at “Turtle Island,” in the middle of the Mekong, not far offshore the Resort.
Private, amidst greenery and foliage at the edge of the Mekong, our two Infinity Pools are a few steps from the Riverside Dining Sala. Relax in the morning or late afternoon in a comfortable chaise longue, enjoy a cool drink, watch the panoramic Riverscape, its long-tailed boat life and our Village fishermen casting their nets. Take a refreshing plunge in Infinity’s sky blue waters and feel at the far edge of the pools that you have become an integral part of the fabled Mekong.
The River Resort strives to provide our guests with a very pleasant interlude from the noise and turmoil of daily life. Here for your private enjoyment are 3 hectares (30,000 sq. meters) of verdant, naturally-landscaped Parkland, formerly a Royal orchard.
Enjoy a one or two hour traditional Lao or Thai massage, soothing oil massage, or foot and shoulder massage at our Spa, our well-trained masseurs and masseuses will ensure you a pleasant journey.
Experienced kayakers may enjoy borrowing our 2-seat kayak to explore the Mekong Riverscape offshore the Resort and watch the fishermen cast and haul in their nets. For this outing, the Resort requires that each kayaker wear a life safety jacket. Currents on the Mekong are sometimes treacherous, and there are often large logs floating downriver, so kayakers are forewarned to stay close to the shore.
